From the very beginnings of the football game, which originated in the cradle of football (England), until today, a significant increase in popularity is visible. In the beginning, the mentioned sport represented a hobby, and today we see it as a permanent job that, along with career development, can lead to high incomes when paying salaries and transfer fees and later employment in certain functions of the club. In addition to the employment of the player himself, the development of football also expands the side jobs without which the system of football leagues and competitions could not function. The development of football also initiated legal processes, which most often occurred during the transfer of professional players, as well as the demands of players to fight for their labor rights. The initiation of numerous court proceedings and court rulings, some of which we have listed in this paper, have brought this system to near perfection. Some of the court rulings in football have made it easier for other sports to arrange their relations and harmonize legal rules for the more successful development and functioning of the federation. From the cradle to the present, the development is so significant that football fans believe that football has become "the most important secondary thing in the world".
