Abstract	UvoĎenje informatičke tehnologije i informatizacija sustava u globalu, preduvjet je odrţivosti sustava i praćenja procesa suvremenih informacijsko-komunikacijskih trendova. Informacijsko doba postavlja uvjet praćenja suvremenih trendova, implementaciju i konstantno unaprjeĎenje sustava, odnosno svih procesa i poslova javne uprave da bi se optimiziralo poslovanje i učinilo ga se efikasnijim. U hrvatskoj javnoj upravi se u nedovoljnoj mjeri koriste rješenja ICT-a. Stoga su potrebni dodatni napori u ovom segmentu, kako bi Republika Hrvatska išla u korak sa trendovima Europske unije i cijeloga svijeta.
