Abstract
U ovom radu na temu “Početak hrvatske diplomacije” nastoji se dati pregled situacije koja se događala uoči ratnih zbivanja i borbe hrvatskog diplomatskog osoblja za osamostaljenje Republike Hrvatske. Posvetit ćemo pozornost događajima koji su prethodili stvaranju države Hrvatske. Posebnu pozornost posvetit ćemo tijeku odnosa između Republike Hrvatske i drugih zemalja od kojih se tražilo međunarodno priznanje Hrvatske kao samostalne države. Spomenut ćemo događaje koji su se na tom putu dogodili te kako su se oni razriješili.
Abstract (english)
In this paper on the topic “The Beginnings of Croatian Diplomacy”, an attempt is made to give an overview of the situation that took place on the eve of the war and the struggle of Croatian diplomatic staff for the independence of the Republic of Croatia. We will pay attention to the events that preceded the creation of the state of Croatia. We will pay special attention to the course of relations between the Republic of Croatia and other countries from which international recognition of Croatia as an independent state was sought. We will mention the events that happened along the way and how they were resolved.
