Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je kasko-osiguranje jahti, osiguranje koje je regulirano Pomorskim zakonikom na način da se njegove odredbe koje se odnose na osiguranje brodova izravno primjenjuju i na osiguranje jahti. Iz tog razloga, prvi dio ovog rada usmjeren je na analizu samog ugovora o pomorskom osiguranju, njegovih elemenata, vrsta, te sklapanju i prestanku ugovora, dok je u drugom dijelu rada pobliže objašnjena posebnost osiguranja jahti u odnosu na osiguranje brodova te su izloženi neki od slučajeva iz sudske prakse Republike Hrvatske, a koji se odnose na osiguranje jahti.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this master thesis is yacht insurance, insurance which is regulated by the Maritime Code in such way that its provisions relating to ship insurance are directly applicable to yacht insurance. For this reason, the first part of this paper focuses on the analysis of the maritime insurance contract, its elements, types, the conclusion and termination of the contract, while the second part explains in detail the specifics of yacht insurance in relation to ship insurance and presents some cases from the case law of the Republic of Croatia, which relate to yacht insurance.
