Organisations today find themselves in a turbulent and dynamic environment characterised by a multitude of changes. In the context of globalisation, an increasing digitalisation of organisations' business processes can be observed, which has also been triggered by the Covid 19 virus pandemic in recent years. While companies used to rely on mass production and distribution methods, modern organisations now rely on the latest IT technology that can produce unique products, as well as a linear distribution system that enables the direct delivery of products. However, for organisational effectiveness, goals need to be defined in advance, outlining the objectives, strategy and roadmap to achieve a particular goal, including the resources that need to be allocated and deployed to achieve that goal. Based on the review and analysis of the relevant academic and professional literature, this final paper first introduces and analyses the basic concepts of globalisation and organisation, then introduces the principles and types of organisations and the principles of division of labour in organisations, and then analyses the organisational changes and the changes in the work of organisations such as remote working, flexible working hours, global workforce, virtual organisations and networked enterprises.
