Abstract
U ovom radu je obrađena tema predsjednika Republike Hrvatske. Institut predsjednika Republike Hrvatske se mijenjao s Ustavnim promjenama 2000.godine, nakon kojih predsjednik ne može biti član nijedne političke stranke te Vlada i parlament surađuju i donose odluke međusobnim dogovaranjem. Predsjednikova uloga i dalje je važna, ali slabija u odnosu na njegovu ulogu prije Ustavnih promjena. Hrvatska je u svojoj kratkoj povijesti promijenila pet predsjednika, a to su bili Franjo Tuđman, Stjepan Mesić, Ivo Josipović, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović te trenutni predsjednik Zoran Milanović
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the topic of the President of the Republic of Croatia. The institution of the President of the Republic of Croatia changed with the Constitutional Amendments in 2000, after which the President cannot be a member of any political party and the Government and Parliament cooperate and make decisions by mutual agreement. The president's role remains important, but weaker than his role before the Constitutional changes. In its short history, Croatia has changed five presidents, namely Franjo Tuđman, Stjepan Mesić, Ivo Josipović, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and the current president Zoran Milanović
