The International Red Cross is part of the largest volunteer network in the world, located in almost 200 countries around the world. This organization is the largest humanitarian network in the world that carries out all its activities with the aim of helping all those who suffer, without discrimination, either during conflict, in response to natural or man-made disasters or chronic poverty. The international organization is active all over the world and so the organizations of the Red Cross of various countries, including the Croatian Red Cross, differ. The Croatian Red Cross achieves its humanitarian goals and tasks in the field of protection and improvement of health, social welfare, health and humanitarian education, and is committed to respecting international humanitarian law and the protection of human rights. This organization, from year to year, increases the number of its volunteers and achieves more and more successful results in its business and expands to an increasing number of territories. It is the international organization of the Red Cross that is the ideal presentation of a humanitarian organization that is progressing and achieving all its set goals.
